The Best Letter Ever Written By A Client To A Bank Manager

Its a real letter written by an old woman to her bank manager when she found her check bounced due to lack of enough funds in account. This letter was published in New York Times way back in 2006.letter to bank manager

Dear Sir,

Its a great honor to right a thankful letter to you for bouncing my check which i issued to my plumber for his services.

I think , as calculative as I can, there is a huge difference of three nanoseconds between presentment of check by plumber and arrival of my pension funds in my account, which usually comes through automatic way.

My account is in your bank since last eight years and my pension usually comes there through as automatic deposits. So from now I decide to do it manually, via check or address personally and confidentially to any of your nominated employee.

A little problem is here that under Postal Act it is an offense to open any other’s letter. So I have to know as much as your bank about that particular nominated person.

Please also confirm it that all of his/her medical records must be countersigned by Notary Public. And also all other mandatory details (Address, assets, debts, incomes and liabilities etc) must be with attested copies.

Then I will issue him or her a PIN number, which he/she must quote when dealing with me.I am sorry but it will not be smaller than 28 digits.

A little more explanation for you when you want to call me for any reason. After Dialing, Press Star (*) for English Language.

Press 1 : To fix an appointment to see me

Press 2 : To ask about any missing payments

Press 3 : Transfer you call to my living room, if I am there

Press 4 : To transfer the call if I am in bedroom

Press 5 : To transfer call to Toilet, If I am busy in attending nature

Press 6 : Transfer the call to my Mobile, If I am not in home.

Press 7 : To leave a message, If I am not available anywhere above. A password will be issued to you which I mentioned earlier as Authorized Contact

Press 8 : To go back to the menu and listen the All options again

Press 9 : This is a second reminder to press Star (*) for English. While this may, on occasion, involve a lengthy wait, uplifting music will play for the duration of the call.

May I wish you a very Happy Day?
